Ford GTX1

Ford GTX1

Although the difference in the name of the Ford GT and the Ford GTX1 are different but there's a bit more to it than that. I don't really have a picture but just imagine the car without a roof and the body lowered about 2-3 feet.
They've tinkered with the engine control unit, fitted a smaller pulley and changed the exhaust system. So now it puts out not 550 hp, but 750 break horsepower!Thats not all they've done. They lowered the car for better handling and took off the roof for less resistance. Thats alot when they have the same engine. It's got the same engine and supercharger but not the pulley or the exhaust system. It's like a dream to just tap the gas. The sound is immaculate and very loud by just tapping the gas pedal. The Ford GTX1 suspension is able to turn on any course because it's lower and has no resistance. That sounds like a pretty solid car. You might want to keep a pair of ear plugs in the car because it's so loud. The coolest part about the exhaust is when you shift flames start flaring out. Now thats cool.

Well I hoped you enjoyed my last post but don't worry, I'll have more for you guys in the future. Thank you guys for taking the time to read my post about the Ford GTX1.

Ford GT

Ford GT

Now your probably wondering what the Ford GT looks like.....Well here it is! Actually it would'nt let me download the picture on here so just enjoy the rest of my blog.

The Ford GT is the badest of the bad. It has 550 horsepower. The topspeed is 225 miles per hour. With it's monstrous 5.4 liter Ford V8, it sure packs a mean punch. It's also got the Ford racing supercharger which provides 9lbs of boost. This car has the same engine as the Shelby GT.500 but theres a bit more to them than meets the eye. The GT is more streamline and closer to the ground. The Shelby is a little more higher and has a very round, square body shape other than the Ford GT. On the drag strip the Ford GT accelerates to 60 miles per hour in about 2.5 seconds. The Shelby accelerates in 4.6 seconds. Thats a big difference with 2 cars with the same engine. The reason the Shelby gets a slower time than The GT is because of it's rearend. When you hit the gas it justs gets loose off the line. Plus the GT is about 200,000 dollars more than the Shelby GT.500.

Well, I hope you enjoyed a little information about the Ford GT. Stay tuned and find out the second version of the Ford GT but with more power. It's the Ford GTX1!

Chip Foose

My altime favorite car designer is Chip Foose. His ideas about what to do on a car is absolutely astounding. When he draws a picture of his cars, its almost like you want to jump in the frame and ride the car home. Thats how realistic his designs are. In one of my other posts I wrote about, is was about the Foose mustang. I also said that my dad had one also but he had to give it away. We had so musch fun in the car. All you could hear was the exhaust and the wheels spinning. If all you Ford fans are looking to buy a mustang, get the Foose Mustang GT. It will blow your mind!

The reason why I enjoy Chip Fooses work is when he draws a picture, he will take his time in no hurry what so ever and it will turn out beautiful. I enjoy drawing myself. Basically the only things I draw are cars. Any kind like I'll draw trucks from the 1920-2010. Or I'll draw cars from 1920's to 2010.

A TV show that Chip Foose host's is called (Overhaulin). That show is awsome! Especially if Chip Foose isn't done with his project, his guys will play a trick on the customer. Somtimes they'll pretend to be cops or a towing company telling them that smothing bad has happened to there car. So the customers will just stay home and think about there car and that it's gone. Its pretty harsh but they get somthing even better in return. They'll get the car of there dreams but more than they could,ve wanted out of it.So Thats why I admire Chip Foose

Foose Mustang GT

Now I know I’ve said that a lot of cars are my favorite but there’s still one more I need to share. This is no ordinary car. This is the coolest fastest car that is the ultimate eye catcher. (The Foose Stallion GT). Now the name may have stallion in it but it’s really a mustang GT. But actually it’s not a regular mustang, there’s a bit more to it than that.

The engine is very familiar it’s got the same 4.6lt V8 done up with a Ford racing suspension, JBA catback exhaust system, cold air induction, and Foose design wheels. But the best part of the car is the body and paint. I mean the paint is Immaculate! The paint is so shiny and sleek. It comes in satin silver, cherry red, dark blue, well enough about the paint. Now the body is so streamline and aerodynamic that it cuts the wind in half with the hood. The special thing about the hood is it’s just like a knife. It will just cut the wind and makes it more streamline.

But the main part why I like this car is because my dad had a 2006 Foose mustang. #14 out of 2000 others in the 2006 model. It was very rare. But the sad part about it was my dad had to give it up because he couldn’t afford it anymore because he got laid off from his job. So we had a lot of fun in it with the races and the cruises we shared. So that’s my story for this blog.

Bullitt

The movie (Bullitt) is another great memorable movie with the actor Steve McQueen. This is my favorite movie of all time. This movie is full of action and great car chases and everything! My favorite character from Bullitt is, well of course it’s going to be Steve McQueen. My favorite part of the movie is the chase scene when Steve McQueen chase those guys in there dodge charger. Yuck!!! A Dodge. Come on! Not to hurt any feelings but that charger sounded like the engine needed to get overhauled. I’ll admit, the mustang sound was a little edgy. But it’s still sounds amazing when it catches up to those guys.

I know this isn’t the 1968 Bullitt mustang but it’s the newer 2008 mustang Bullitt version. The old mustang from the movie had a 380 ford engine. The charger had I think either a 440 or a 383. I’m not sure. But there both V8’s so let’s just leave it as that. Now this new mustang has a 4.6 or 289 ford racing engine. It’s got a cold air intake if I’m correct. Also for this new mustang it has instead of a 355 rear-end it has a 373 which will just spin those tires really fast!

A reason I chose this movie for my blog is because it’s a great movie to watch and it’s got some pretty cool cars. But the best reason why I chose this is because of Steve McQueen’s mustang.

Gone sixtey seconds

Gone in sixty seconds is one of the most recognized movies of all time. The main part of the film is when Memphis Reigns was the greatest car thief of all time. But he gave up his criminal life and moved away from his family and friends to keep out of danger from his mistakes. But it didn’t work.

While Memphis was gone, his little brother named Kip Reigns became a car thief just like his older brother. One night he was going on a boost, (steal cars), He was at the Porche car dealer figuring out which of the cars in the building was the rarest one out of them. So he threw a brick at the wall at the window and it broke into a million pieces! He went in with his partner and he kept on complaining to not steal it because there was no way to get the car out. But that didn’t stop him. So Kip drove the car straight into the glass and made a drive for it. As there were getting away from the dealership, on the way they ended up right next to a car with a nice ride. So they raced and passed the cops and ran a red light! So they went back to their hideout full of stolen cars and the cops found them but they made a run for it! But that’s not the end of the story. Well, let’s cut to the chase. So Kips older brother has to save
Kip from being killed from the guy that Kip took the job from, (Ramon Caletree). But the only way he could save him is to steel 50 cars in 3 days. He got all the 49 cars to him but he really screwed up on delivering the last car. This was Eleanor. So he finally delivered the car 12 minutes late and so he decided to kill Memphis since he was there. But his friends saved him and Memphis pushed Ramon Caletree of the highest floor and so Ramon died. After that they celebrated with a barbeque. But Memphis was in for a surprise. His brother gave him keys to his favorite car Eleanor.

The reason I like this movie is because I’m a big fan of cars and of Eleanor. So this is my favorite car action movie of all time.

Ford fairlane

One of my favorite cars of all time is the 1968 Ford Fairlane 500. The main reason I love this car is because it was my dad’s very first car. Also this car has never lost a race. Hes faced chargers, challengers, camaros, chevelles, and mustangs, basically everything. This car only has a little 4.6 or a 351 Windsor. But my dad had a ford 351 Windsor. That’s the engine I’m getting in my ride.

One of my favorite parts of this car is the weight. I mean this car barely weighs 3100 pounds. That’s what gives it its speed. Plus it handles better through the slalom course or on the road. Also it doesn’t make the engine have to haul all that weight to the finish line. Probably the best body style for the Fairlane is the fastback. Well that’s just my opinion but some of you guys who is a Ford fan you may prefer the regular style. Another reason I like the Fairlane is…..Well if you’ve ever watched speed TV, (pass time). They had a Fairlane on there and it was so fast! I think it got a time of 7 seconds 3 something seconds. That might not be correct but I know it was a fast time.

My conclusion about this is you chose the car that’s right for you. You decide. You may get a junky car but if you put a lot of time into a project, it will be something you will cherish for the rest of your life.

Muscle cars

There are all kinds of muscle cars in the world that have great value and great horsepower. But only one is the all time eye catcher, and thats the 69 Ford mustang fastback. This muscle car was a beast in the late 60's and also had one of Fords greatest engines like the 429 cobra jet. Now theres something that will envy other drivers.

Also there was a great in the 80's but it wasn,t really a muscle car, it was a pimping low rider. That car is the Buick Grand National. You may know this car from the movie Fast and Furious 4 at the beginning of the movie. The one thing about the car that astounded me was the way it could drive backwards the entire scene of the beginning. The Grand National is the only Chevrelet type vehicle that I like.

Now this last car that was a beast in the early 70's. It was a Mopar type vehicle, and its the Dodge Challenger R/T. You may know this car from the movie Vanishing Point. The one and only thing that astounds me about the Vanishing Point car is the engine. The engine was a 472 magnum! Now thats huge!

My Favorite Cars

One thing that I love is talking about cars. The reason I wanted to talk about cars in my blog is that cars are my passion. Ever since my dad bought his 2006 Foose mustang in 2006, I’ve been hooked on cars ever since. I’m always on the computer looking at YouTube to listen to the sounds of car engines revving and racing. Of course I usually listen to Fords revving and racing.

My favorite car of all time is the 1967 Shelby GT500. Now there are a lot of Chevy fans out there but this car is a movie star. This car has been in the movie of 2000, (Gone In sixty seconds). The sound of this car is immaculate. I actually have a scale model in my room of it.

There are all kinds of cars in the world that I like except one; The Chevrolet. One of the biggest reasons why I really don’t like Chevy’s is that they’ve had to get bailed out so many times because no one wants to buy their cars. Also when they get their money from bail they just use it to try and make even more useless cars with really goofy names like the Chevy cobalt. Who wants to name a car after a tool? Honestly? But Fords ford focus gets 41 miles to the gallon while the Chevy Malibu gets about 32 miles to the gallon.

First semester portfolio- Piece i'd like to revise

My dad’s car.

The piece I would like to revise is my Haiku and my paragraph about my dad’s car.

A genre is a short story. It’s about my dad letting me drive his mustang out in Letcher. When I tried to start it I was so pumped because I wanted to go fast but I relised that I let my foot of the clutch so I had to restarted it and we were off. Its an unforgetting story that i'll never forget. Its a time when my dad and me spent the greatest time for a joy ride.

It’s about my dad who let me drive his car for the first time and what I did and were I’ve driven to. At first I really didn’t get to know how the stick shift was tuned on it because it was my first time. On my dad’s truck, I know the stick shift on that really well. The car is more high racing tuned, my dad’s truck is more off road tuned.

My ideas all come from my family and what we have done in the past. This story of my life was one of my favorite times in my life. This story came from me driving his car over the summer to help with his back surgery because I didn't want to make him walk a mile to get to his car. Thats really the only thing I thought about all the time besides school work.

How I would change this is I would read over and over again and just make it perfect because I got like a 90 somthing on it and I was shooting for a 100. Also I don't think I had to many awubis sentences in my paragraph.

First semester portfolio- favorite piece

Fun with Stewie

A genre is a short story. It’s basically about my older sister letting my family take care of her dog for a week. Taking care of her dog we had some great moments but there were some disadvantages also. One of the good parts was that Stewie,(Jill’s dog),would always cuddle with you and give kisses all over your face.

It’s about taking care of my older sisters dog for a week and the relationships we shared.
Taking care of Stewie for a week changed the way my family lives their lives. For instance, having Stewie around kept my dad from smoking for a week. That’s a good thing. A week can do a lot of things to your life.

It’s my favorite thing to talk about because it’s the only thing that meant a lot to my family in a long time. My family doesn’t have very much money to do things but it’s something that we can do together.

Basically all my ideas come from my family or past vacations I’ve had. But this idea was the only story i could think of wright off the bat. At first i tried to talk about a fight my dad and i got into with some guy at a gas station.

First semester portfolio

First day of seventh grade

When I first walked into the 7th grade language arts room, my knowledge about English just sky- rocketed. I din't even have a clue what an awubis is or imagery was. I learned as I first got into Mrs. Moege’s room, I learned so much about vocabulary and what not.

What I learned about myself first semester was, I thought that I was the only one in the room. But I knew some kids that went to school with new last year. I also didn’t know if I could make any new friends but I did. Actually all of the kids in my class were great kids and fun to be around. I've made friends with all of them.

I need to keep working the hardest I possibly can and keep reading.Because my reading pages right now aren’t too good ill need to keep working on it. It’s an average like 300 pages but that’s still good.
